PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

PROJECT MANAGER - REFIT/REPAIR of  Large Yachts - 2017 – Present

Vessels ranging in length from 26m to 57m

Heesen, Westport, Trinity, Broward, Sterling Yachts 

Ethically represent clients interests while managing the day to day operations of Refits on large yachts.  Working with Flag State, Classification societies & other regulatory bodies, Insurance, Management Companies, Yacht Brokers, Captain & crew, shipyards, vendors, vessel manufacturers, as well as others in order to meet the owner's expectations and deliver the vessel safely back into service.


CHIEF MATE - Private Yacht - 2014 – 2017

M/Y RASA – 40m, 394GRT

Cruising: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, US West Coast,  British Columbia, Alaska , Cuba, US East Coast.

This program had an extensive and often remote cruising itinerary.  A 30ft tender was towed at all times.  Active role in operations and project management durning the shipyard periods,  insuring each project stayed on time and on target. Some of these projects included 15 year Class Survey, an insurance renewal inspection and a paint job of exterior and machinery spaces.


SHIP OPERATOR - Stolt-Nielsen Chemical Tankers - 2010 – 2014

Connecticut – Texas – The Netherlands – Singapore

Commercially managed chemical tankers trading globally, which demanded skills in logistics and strategic planning.
